FAQ's
*How do we get our products to you and back to us?
Within the Pierce and South King County areas I offer free pick up and delivery of your products.
If you ship your products to me, please insure your package through your carrier. If your products are lost, damaged, stolen, or fall victim to some other shipping tragedy, Ron Roberts (Pictureman) Photography will not be held responsible. Please, please, please insure your goods. Also, let me know the value of the products so I can ensure proper insurance coverage for their return trip home.
*What’s your average turnaround time?
Generally I allow about four days for shooting and digital delivery of images. Rush jobs are available at a higher cost, For rush, please indicate “Rush Job” on the submission form .
*What size images do we get and how do you deliver them?
File sizes will vary depending on product size, cropping during retouching, etc, but we deliver the highest resolution image we can get you. Generally, we average about 12mb images, in Tif format, in RGB color-space. Beside the thumbnail with is about a 4mb jpeg. We also convert the images to web-ready sizes of your specification at no additional charge.
Your photos will be posted on a password protected page of this web site for you to approve. Photos will be marked with a text water mark until we recieve email confirmation and approval. Once we recieve approval and final payment a CD with your photos will also be sent or delivered with the return of your products.
What payment methods do you accept?
Currently, we accept payment by PayPal or company check written to "Ron Roberts Photography". PayPal is preferred and PayPal accepts all major credit cards, and you do not need to create a PayPal account to use it.

What rights are purchased with our images?
To make things as easy as possible for my clients, I include unlimited, non-exclusive, usage rights leases for all images delivered. Technically, Ron Roberts (Pictureman) Photography maintains copyright, but you’re free to use the images for whatever purpose you please, as long as you desire, without further rights leases. I maintain copyright mainly for the purpose of being able to use the image for self-promotion. However, I do reserve the right to resell or reuse the image. Your usage rights are contingent upon payment of your invoice. Any use prior to full payment constitutes copyright infringement.
What kind of guarantee do you offer? Will you reshoot if I’m unhappy with the initial images?
Between our contact form and follow up emails & phone calls, I do a pretty good job of finding out what angles, propping, and such you're looking for in your product shot. I also keep the lighting pretty consistent throughout your images, so you know what you’ll be getting. I will not ship the products back or make a final CD until I have your E-mail conformation that you are satisfied with the images you are getting.
